24883 Razer DeathAdder Essential Ergonomic Gaming Mouse - 2013 Edition 59.99 69.9900 USD InStock /Clearance/Scratch&Dent/Mice Clearance The Razer DeathAdder is the weapon of choice for gamers seeking a combination of comfort and unbridled gaming precision. This is the pinnacle of gaming accuracy with an optical mouse sensor. The all-new Razer DeathAdders mouse sensor has no drift control, ensuring that youll be able to make minor movements in game, especially vital for FPS gamers pulling off that perfect headshot. So even though your mouse sensitivity is scaled down, it catches up to the physical movement of your hand across the surface for an almost 1-to-1 response between mouse and game. Get 200ips and 50G acceleration even at the lowest dpi settings.
Just choose from one of the preset Razer mouse mats in Synapse 2.0 to calibrate the sensor, or use the manual calibration mode if youre using a custom surface. This mouses 4G sensor has also been optimized to work perfectly with all Razer mouse mats. Achieve high levels of performance while retaining the feel of the optical sensor most DeathAdder users have come to love. I do care about whether the Essential has the Avago 3988 sensor that I heard a lot of good things about. The all-new Razer DeathAdder has been upgraded with the worlds first 6400dpi Optical Sensor. What are the differences between the Essential and other variants of the Deathadder 2013? I know that the Chroma has RGB lighting but I don't care about it. Are these problems common with the Deathadder 2013 or is it no more prone to malfunctions than most other gaming mice? I've read a few reviews claiming the rubber pads come off easily and some people reported the scroll wheel breaking after a few months.
Which of these two statements is correct and will I have to use one of the unofficial Linux drivers to be able to set a low DPI on Ubuntu?
I've read contradictory statements about the onboard memory on the Deathadder 2013 with some people claiming you can set the DPI settings using the Razer Synapse software on Windows and it will store these settings on the onbaord memory and use them on other computers/operating systems while other sources state that this mouse doesn't have any onboard memory. I know that the Deathadder will work on Linux since it is a plug-and-play mouse however because it doesn't have a DPI switch I am concerned about what DPI it's going to default to on Ubuntu.
While I game on Windows I do most other tasks on Linux (Ubuntu 17.04 to be precise). I am looking to buy a new mouse and I am considering getting the Deathadder 2013 Essential since I heard a lot of good things about its sensor, size (I have large hands) and ergonomics, however there are a few details that aren't fully clear and I would appreciate it if those of you who have/had this mouse can comment on them: You can do so by simply clicking flair under your link!
